THE HORENFELDT NEWS
THE HORENFELDT SOCIAL HALL
Cordials, liqueurs, brandies, etc., require Rabbinic approval since they may contain wine, glycerine, cream, wine or whey alcohol, or other questionable ingredients. In order to avoid any problems with the Kashrus of our products served in our Shul we maintain the following guidelines. If you are sponsoring a Kiddush and wish to supply your own liquor, it must be brought to the Shul no later than Thursday evening. If this deadline is not met, the Shul will be prepared to supply the liquor and you will be asked to reimburse the Shul for its cost. For information regarding the Shul policies and guidelines concerning the hall, i.e. caterers, homemade food, dairy or meat products, etc., please contact the Shul office.
THE EZZY AND YETTA HORENFELDT TAPE LIBRARY
We are pleased to announce that the tape library donated in memory of Ezzy and Yetta Horenfeldt A.H. has recently had many new tapes donated. The tape library is located in the Reiter Bais Hamedrash of our Shul on the back wall. The library enables one to borrow tapes on a variety of interesting and timely topics (i.e. Rabbi Berel Wein’s history series, Rabbi Frand’s Parsh series, tapes of Rabbi U. Milevsky זצ''ל , Rabbi Y. Reisman’s Nach series etc.) One may borrow tapes by simply signing for them in the binder next to the tape library. Please follow the rules and directions that have been established for the tape library which can be found in the binder. For further details or suggestions concerning the tape library, please contact the Rav or Dr. Eli Bienenstock.
